A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. RVRents uses as few as possible. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| rvrents-session | Essential | Keeps your search, quote and form progress between pages | 2 hours |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Essential | Protects forms against requests forged by other sites | 2 hours |
| rvr_cookie_consent | Essential | Remembers whether you chose "Accept all" or "Essential only" | 12 months |
Essential cookies are needed for the site to work, so they are set whatever you choose.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people find useful, so we can improve the site. It loads only after you choose "Accept all". If you choose "Essential only", or never choose, it does not load.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart with a random ID, so we can count visitors | 2 years |
| _ga_SL32G7XB9R | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit | 2 years |
Google Analytics records pages viewed, how you reached the site, your rough location (city level) and device type. We do not send it your name, email or phone number. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Google explains how it uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Other sites
RV photos from Outdoorsy listings load from Outdoorsy's image service. When you continue to Outdoorsy, Outdoorsy and its affiliate tracking provider set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not control those cookies.
Campground pages can show a Google map. It loads only when you press Show map, and Google may then set its own cookies under Google's policies.
Change your choice
Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page to see the banner again, or clear cookies for this site in your browser settings.
